Easy3DPhone: An Educational App for 3D Design
Easy3DPhone is an educational app developed by JOVALMO for students interested in 3D design. Unlike commercial products on PC, this app is focused solely on providing educational content. It follows the conceptual guidelines and procedures found in popular 3D applications like SolidWorks and CAD programs.
Understanding the basic principles used in these applications is crucial, such as the procedures and steps involved in creating models in any position or orientation. Easy3DPhone offers basic isometric views, including Front, Top, and Right, to begin with the first piece sketch. Once the initial plane is chosen, a new sketch associated with it is opened and linked to the 3D space.
Each sketch in Easy3DPhone is composed of primitive graphics like lines, splines, arcs, circles, and polygons. These sketches can then be given volume features like extrusion, revolve, and sweep. Successive sketches can be created on the surface of the first solid, either by behaving like the previous planes or by selecting an edge and angle, or using auxiliary lines on the surfaces.
The solid made up of various sketches, to which volume operations have been applied, is referred to as a Part in Easy3DPhone. Users have the option to give texture or use the color palette individually for each sketch.
